Generally, the place was high-class and had friendly efficient staff in particular the assistant manager who excelled in customer service. We were in a perfect location just next door to shops pubs and restaurants, the citycenter and the theatre. Furthermore, right in the centre of the main street...

The property is fairly clean with an excellent design, and the full Scottish breakfast is marvellous. The rooms are neat and have gorgeous views onto the town. Have a drink at the main bar. Overall, we recommend this traditional hotel to friends.

The hotel had a very central location in a lovely area of the Lake District. Plus, it was adjacent to Keswick bus station, the centre of Keswick and Keswick for a stag / hen night. The room was fabulous and the view onto the town was particularly good.

My room was good value for money and very well decorated and complete with the bathroom, cosy 2 seater sofa and cases or bags etc. The location was super central, ideal so close to an eating area.

I found everything good, recommend it to friends. Really enjoyed my 3 nights stay. The restaurant was nice which serves really good food, I tried excellent dishes. The location was marvellous and lovely: a market and various shops were within walking distance. Also, Hope Park was not far away.

Enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast and the excellent quality of food in the evenings. Residents were even allowed to take drinks to their rooms if there was no table available.
